The result is that you won’t need to fill your stove up as often, making this one of the most cost effective multifuel stoves available.
Other features that make the Ash an excellent choice include an enormous ash pan that can be removed to make maintenance easy and a multi-fuel grates that lets you burn wood and smokeless coal together, and a tertiary air inlet which helps further increase the efficiency of combustion. It is a DEFRA-approved, Ecodesign-compliant stove, with clearSkies level five certification. This means that it produces 90% less emissions than a traditional open-fire, and 80percent less than a stove not exempt from DEFRA.
